The Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra is celebrating 70 years of musical excellence this year, even though the orchestra’s story started long before its formal beginning in 1950. Last spring a group of 5 undergraduate interns and 2 classes in the Department of Comparative Cultural Studies researched this community treasure for a semester-long project and discovered a much more in-depth story of the FSO hidden in Cline Library’s Special Collections and Archives. The resulting exhibit is on display on the first floor of Cline Library from September 27 through October 31.
