Information for users with disabilities

The library collaborates with NAU’s Office of Disability Resources and others to provide accommodations for users with disabilities. NAU students, faculty and staff can contact the Office of Disability Resources (928-523-8773) to receive an evaluation and/or training on assistive technologies and equipment.

Coconino Community College provides support through their office of Disability Resources Services. Student staff and faculty can contact the Disability Resources Coordinator at 928-226-4243.

Building resources

First floor [map]

  • Button-activated entry and exit doors at main entrance.
  • Elevator to floors 1, 2 and 3.
  • Computers on adjustable height workstations.
  • Printers and scanners on adjustable height tables.
  • Ramp to Room 102 Assembly Hall.
  • Assistive Technology available in the Studios.
  • Individual headphones with adjustable volume controls to amplify the house speaker system in the Assembly Hall.

  • Adjustable height computer workstations.
  • Ramp to stacks, quiet study, and quiet computing areas.
  • Ramp to Group Study Rooms 290-297 and technology classroom Room 298.

  • Request book and periodical retrieval or other physical access assistance. You may need to submit your request and return later to pick up your materials.
