Add a borrower to your account

Allow a proxy, spouse, or minor to check out materials on your account

NAU faculty and staff can add NAU student proxies, spouses, and minor children to borrow materials on their behalf.  Both individuals must have an active Cline Library account in order to add or become proxies, except in the case of minor children. Community borrowers are only able to add minor children to their Cline Library accounts.

Disclaimer

• The account holder applying for a proxy account assumes full responsibility for all materials checked out on his/her account by a proxy
• The account holder can designate more than one proxy
• Cline library materials are charged to the account holder and receive the usual loan period for the account
• Document Delivery items will have a different loan period for each item
• all correspondence will be sent to the account holder
• community users (non-NAU affiliates) must have an active Cline Library borrower account before they can add a minor
• exercise caution in adding another borrower to your NAU Cline library account, as you will assume the liability for fines or other implications as a result of the additional user
