3.04 Employee Assistance and Wellness
The purpose of the Employee Assistance and Wellness Office is to provide the employee community with opportunities to promote and enhance individual and office/organizational well being.

Applicability: Academic Professionals, Administrators, Classified Staff, Faculty, Service Professionals
A wide variety of services are offered to all benefit-eligible employees and their immediate family members covered under any medical insurance plan. All services are confidential. These are offered to individuals, groups, or departments and most are free of charge. Services are tailored to the specific needs of those requesting assistance.
Services available include:
- counseling
- biofeedback
- crisis intervention during the workday
- information and referral
- conflict management
- supervisor and employee consultation
- education, training and development

Biodyne Employee Assistance Program
An employee and his/her family members who are enrolled in the NAU Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan have an additional employee assistance program available for their use at low cost.
