What to bring
Things to bring and not bring with you to campus
All rooms have furniture, a refrigerator with freezer, wired ethernet, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Each Campus Living Community has kitchen and laundry facilities in the building.
Items to bring with you
Keep in mind that you likely already have all you need! We encourage you to start with the essentials and avoid over-packing. Find out what you can do to have a more sustainable shopping list.

Weapons and firearms
Please review the NAU weapons policy for detailed information. Prohibited items:

- BB guns, paintball guns, and any gas- or air-operated gun*
- Nerf guns, water guns, or other imitation firearms*
- Switchblades, hunting knives, or blades over 5 inches*
- Bows and arrows, slingshots, tasers*
- Any item that could be perceived as a firearm*
Please note that the brandishing of, discharge of, or threatening behavior with a weapon could result in immediate eviction from housing. If you’re not sure if an item is considered a weapon, we encourage you NOT to bring it! This helps protect your safety and the safety of all students in our community.
