Summer housing for NAU students

We’re excited you are interested in staying in Flagstaff this summer! Summer housing options are available for students registered for summer classes or preregistered for the fall semester.

Summer housing application process

The summer 2023 housing application will be available in March. Plan apply by the priority deadline on April 15th. 

Summer housing parking Accordion Closed

A parking permit is required to park on campus. Please ensure your car is parked in between designated stall lines (two white lines). Parking is not permitted in bus lanes, fire lanes, disabled stalls, service vehicle stalls, pedestrian walkways or in roadways.

Note: Downtime housing is only available to students who reside on campus during the second 5-week summer session AND have a fall housing assignment. Downtime rates are not prorated.

Workshop housing (application opening in April) for 2022 Accordion Closed

Workshop housing is available if you will be taking a summer course and only require housing for less than 2 days per week. Housing placements will be in Gillenwater for individual students only, we are unable to accommodate families at this time.

Please note: assignments will be made based on space availability.

  • Housing accommodations include a bed, desk, dresser, small kitchen, bathroom and free wireless and wired internet access.
  • Housing accommodations will not include linens, air-conditioning, telephones, televisions, hair dryers, hangers, irons or coffee makers. There is no daily housekeeping service for the apartments.
  • Cancellation deadline: Log into the housing portal by noon the Wednesday before your arrival to cancel an upcoming housing request. Cancellations received after this date and time will be charged the nightly rental rate for the dates requested. Charges will be posted to the student’s LOUIE account.
