Housing License Agreement Release

Single student

The license agreement is binding for the entire academic year, both fall and spring semesters. Students are legally responsible for the financial fulfillment of this contractual agreement. Students may submit a request for release from the license agreement in the Housing Portal and will accrue a rent proration based on the refund schedule if approved. Request to be released from the license agreement is considered only for the following five reasons: Official Withdrawal, Marriage, Not Registered for Classes, Graduating, and Non-local NAU Programs. Please note: Non-local programs do not include remote learning for Flagstaff mountain campus students. It is your responsibility to supply all required documentation. Refer to the license agreement for the refund schedule. Requests are processed in the order they are received and may take a few weeks for processing.

Family Housing

The contracted resident must give thirty days notice to terminate their contract by submitting an intent to vacate through the Housing Portal. Failure to submit thirty days’ notice will result in the resident being charged a full thirty days’ rent.
