The Dr. Neil Potter Chapter of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH)
The purpose of the organization is to build on the founding principles of participation, dedication, and compassion, the National Residence Hall Honorary strives to promote and encourage leadership through recognition, service, and academic excellence. Our hope is that individuals will become motivated, inspired, and develop self-efficiency to make further positive impacts within the community. The National Residence Hall Honorary serves as an instrument to improve and strengthen the campus community and the lives of individuals within the residence halls.

NRHH meets every Monday from 7:30 pm-9:00 pm in the University Union in the Grand Canyon room. These meetings will start Monday, September 9, and continue through Monday, December 2, 2024. NRHH Meetings focus on giving back to NAU and the Flagstaff Community through service and recognition while promoting leadership development and academic excellence. NRHH encourages anyone to participate, learn, and become a member of the Honorary!
Conferences Accordion Closed
NRHHhas the ability to take active members of the Honorary to conferences that occur throughout the academic year and into the summer. These conferences consist of state, regional, and national leadership conferences. This year, Arizona State University-Downtown Phoenix campus is hosting the 2024 Regional Leadership Conference (RLC 2024) for colleges and universities within the Intermountain region. Northern Arizona University is also hosting the Arizona Residential Leadership Conference this upcoming Spring 2025 and a national conference occurring during the month of May 2025.

NRHH organizes events throughout the year that focus on getting involved, making connections, developing leadership, and signature experiences at NAU! Events are advertised in the Campus Living Communities, on the digital display boards around campus, and are posted to our Instagram @NAUNRHH. Each event is free and you can find out more about when and where these happen through True Blue Connects.
Service Opportunities Accordion Closed
The Dr. Neil Potter Chapter regularly engages in service opportunities around the city of Flagstaff including the Humane Society, Adopt-a-Highway Trail, and food drives. These service opportunities will be posted on True Blue Connects. We are often looking for more opportunities to give back and encourage you to contact our Director of Service and Community Connection at nrhh-service@nau.edu.
Office Hours Accordion Closed
NRHH holds office hours each weekday that the University is in session during the Fall Semester. These office hours are a great opportunity for anyone to drop in and get support on how to build community, get resources, create a new initiative/service project, and learn about event planning. The office is located in the University Union, room 204. We look forward to seeing you stop by!
