Inspection, Review, and Amendment
of Student Records
Pursuant to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA”), Northern Arizona University provides the opportunity for its Students, upon application to the Office of the Registrar, to inspect and review their Education Records in accordance with the instructions and limitations outlined in this policy and its accompanying materials. Additionally, Students have the right to challenge the accuracy and request an amendment of their educational records and to prevent their unauthorized disclosure. This policy does not address grade or evaluation disputes or grievances, which instead must be pursued in accordance with the University’s academic appeal policies.
