Special Education graduate admission requirements  

To be admitted to this program, you must:

• have completed a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• be admitted to the university’s Graduate College
• complete a program of studies form with one of our graduate advisers and submit it to our department office

For the Master's of Special Education with Certification only

You must:

• provide a copy of a current Arizona fingerprint clearance card
• provide evidence of basic skills knowledge
  
  • minimum of 3.0 or better in an English composition course (or equivalent)
  • minimum grade of C or better in a college algebra course (or equivalent)
  • minimum of a C or better in a laboratory science course
   
• submit a recommendation form
• submit a completed application packet
