CTE course schedule

Find out when CTE courses are offered at NAU

All courses are offered via the web and are sequenced by semester. Required CTE core classes are offered once per year. Plan ahead to complete your degree.

MEd CTE

There are four required “core” CTE classes required for graduation. Course substitutions are not made for these classes. The classes are CTE591, CTE691, CTE692, and CTE696. Depending upon your planned semester of graduation, you will want to plan your course scheduling accordingly.

BSEd CTE

There are six required “core” CTE classes required for graduation. The classes are CTE340w, CTE433, CTE300 (required to be taken during first semester of program), CTE396, CTE465, and CTE495c (required to be taken during last semester of program). Course substitutions are only made with prior approval, in writing, from a CTE advisor. Depending upon your planned semester of graduation, you will want to plan your course scheduling accordingly. Students considering the accelerated MEd option should consult with a faculty advisor asap to ensure maximum double dipping of credits.

Please contact the CTE Coordinator, Nicole Hampton, with any questions (CTE Course Schedule last updated September 2018).
