Student Support Services Eligibility and Application

Thank you for your interest in Student Support Services (SSS)! We are looking forward to partnering with you for your success at NAU.

Because SSS is a federally funded TRIO program, we are required to provide documentation of your eligibility to the U.S. Department of Education to prove that two-thirds of our participants meet federal income-eligible guidelines. Please complete the application to the best of your ability, and reach out to our office with any questions. The U.S. Department of Education provides more information about TRIO and eligibility requirements online.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for Student Support Services, you must be:

  • An undergraduate student attending the Flagstaff Mountain campus
  • First-generation, Pell Grant-eligible, or identify as having a disability and eligible for services with Disability Resources
  • An Arizona resident, Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE), or an out-of-state student for the residency requirement for tuition purposes
