Student Advisory Leadership Council (SALT)

The Student Advisory Leadership Team (also known as SALT shakers) are a group of SSS students who want to develop leadership skills while giving back to the program. SALT shakers planned several fun socials for SSS students including a walking trip to BTO (By The Ounce frozen yogurt), game nights, karaoke, and several more.  Look for opportunities to meet new people on the SSS calendar of events, which is available on the True Blue Connects organization page.

Get Involved and Give Back - Become a SALT leader!

Build your resume and professional experience by leading portions of any one or all of the following SSS Leadership events!  Create and lead a team building activity.  Introduce and promote SALT.  Create and share a program for new freshman or upperclassman.  Offer a presentation that you believe would be helpful for our incoming SSS participants.  Be creative!  What would have helped you your Freshman year?  Your Sophomore year and beyond?  What do you wish you had known?  Create and share an icebreaker!  Teach your peers how to pull off a successful event on campus.

Let us know you are interested by completing a SALT Interest Application, which is available on the True Blue Connects organization page, in the forms section.
