Michelle “Shelly” Thomas is a 25-year veteran in the field of speech-language pathology. She is a “jack of all trades” and is well versed in the assessment and treatment of children and adults. She has traveled extensively on the Hopi and Navajo Indian reservations and she is dedicated to issues related to cultural and linguistic diversity. She specializes in accent management with adults from all language backgrounds. She has spent much of her career supervising and teaching graduate clinicians in elementary schools and in the NAU Speech and Hearing Clinic, in addition to supervising SLPA students. Shelly teaches a variety of undergraduate and graduate level courses.
