Prior to joining the NAU faculty, Dr. Lindstedt worked as a school-based speech-language pathologist in Tucson and Flagstaff and provided services to children on the Navajo and Hopi American Indian reservations in northern Arizona.  She directs student research in the areas of child language, cultural and linguistic diversity, and service delivery.  Her partnership with the Arizona Department of Education provides funding support to increase the number of speech-language pathologists working in Arizona schools.  Dr. Lindstedt has received funding from the U.S. Department of Education and the Arizona Department of Education.
