National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA)
NSSLHA is a pre-professional membership association for students interested in the study of communication sciences and disorders. NAU/CSD has an ever-growing student organization and we are always happy to share our organization with students of all disciplines.

NSSLHA meetings are typically held every Wednesday, at 5:30 pm in Room 320 of the Health Professions Building (#66). However, with changing schedules due to holidays or vacation breaks, meetings are frequently rescheduled. If you’d like to attend a meeting, please contact the NSSLHA Advisor, Dr. Mary Towle Harmon (Mary.Harmon@nau.edu) or check out the NSSLHA board on the third floor of Health Professions.
NSSLHA is involved in lots of fun events! We participate in the Next Chapter Book Club, make Valentine’s for local residents residing in assisted living facilities, read books with the kids at Barnes and Noble, participate in free speech/language screenings for Kiddie Clinic and sponsor different fundraisers for local non-profit organizations.
