College of Arts and Letters supplemental applications and auditions

Kitt School of Music admissions process

Both undergraduate and graduate students have requirements for admission to both the university and NAU’s Kitt School of Music:

Undergraduate degree applicants

  1. Apply to NAU. Undergraduate applicants must first apply for admittance to Northern Arizona University.
  2. Undergraduate applicants must submit a Kitt School of Music application in addition to their NAU application.
  3. Submit audition materials.

Graduate degree applicants

  1. Apply to the Graduate College. Graduate program applicants start the application process with the NAU Graduate College.
  2. Read up on the additional materials required for both the Master of Music and Graduate Certificate in Performance.

Department of Theatre admissions process

The Kitt School of Music has plenty of opportunities to participate in a musical ensemble, whether you’re a music major or not! They offer the following auditions that will serve as your seat placement in one of our concert ensembles:

Interested in auditioning for a part in an upcoming theatre production? You don’t have to be a theatre student! Stay up-to-date with the latest news and announcements by regularly checking the following pages for more information. You can also sign up for email updates from the digital callboard:

There is also a physical callboard located in the Theatre Hall (The Performing and Fine Arts building 37). The callboard is next to the costume shop (room 158) and is the control center for the department. You can find audition notices, daily schedules for rehearsals and production meetings, work calls, social events, and other pertinent information.
