Audition for acceptance
All applicants must audition to be accepted into any School of Music degree program. All Arizona residents must complete an in-person audition at the Northern Arizona University Mountain Campus.
If you cannot attend any of the scheduled audition dates, you may still be able to arrange a private audition.
While we strongly encourage out-of-state and international students to audition live on our beautiful campus, we also understand that scheduling and other circumstances do not always allow a visit. For that reason, out-of-state and international students may submit audition materials via Accepted in lieu of an on-campus audition.
The following audition dates have been scheduled for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Note: Before scheduling an audition, students must apply to Northern Arizona University and to the School of Music.
For full scholarship consideration, audition on or before March 7, 2020, and submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the NAU Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid priority date, which is February 1.
