Michelle Miller, Ph.D., Professor of Psychological Sciences and a President’s Distinguished Teaching Fellow at NAU, was the keynote speaker at Columbia University’s recent Celebration of Teaching and Learning. The event, hosted by the university’s Center for Teaching and Learning, brought together faculty, staff, students, and other members of the Columbia University community, to celebrate the ways that faculty and graduate students are transforming their courses and pedagogies.

Dr. Miller is the author of Minds Online: Teaching Effectively with Technology (Harvard University Press, 2014). She writes in general interest and scholarly publications, and presents internationally, on the topics of evidenced-based pedagogy, the innovative use of educational technology, and other related subjects.
