Dr. Michelle Miller Presents Keynote Address at Conference on Teaching and Learning
Michelle Miller, Ph.D., Professor of Psychological Sciences and a President’s Distinguished Teaching Fellow at NAU, was the keynote speaker at Columbia University’s recent Celebration of Teaching and Learning. The event, hosted by the university’s Center for Teaching and Learning, brought together faculty, staff, students, and other members of the Columbia University community, to celebrate the ways that faculty and graduate students are transforming their courses and pedagogies. Two Department Faculty and Former Student Publish in Teaching of Psychology
Meliksah Demir, Ph.D., Nora Dunbar, Ph.D., and former NAU student Shelby Burton authored the article Professor-Student Rapport and Perceived Autonomy Support as Predictor of Course and Student Outcomes in the January edition of Teaching of Psychology, the American Psychological Association’s flagship journal for educators in the field.
