Grants

Grant award options for NAU students seeking degrees in criminology and criminal justice

In addition to departmental grants through the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, you may also qualify for other grants available from many sources including the federal government, state government, or from the Northern Arizona University itself. Because they typically do not require repayment, grants can be considered “gift aid.” Under certain circumstances (such as Return to Title IV), a portion of, or all, grant funds need to be repaid. Additionally, some grants require that certain criteria be met so the funds do not have to be repaid. Whether you are a resident or non-resident of Arizona, as an NAU student you might qualify for various grant awards. This funding is often based on your financial need.
