Financial aid opportunity for NAU students: FSEOG

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is available to eligible  undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. This grant funding is limited and is awarded based on when a student’s FAFSA is submitted.

Selected NAU students will receive up to $1,000 for the academic year ($500 per semester).

The following criteria must be met for consideration but is not a guarantee of funds:

  • Complete the FAFSA by the priority date. Our priority date for all students is April 1. Include NAU’s school code, 001082.
  • Have an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of zero as calculated by the FAFSA.
  • Enroll in at least six credit hours. (Concurrent enrollment students must have an approved Consortium Agreement).
  • Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress guidelines.
