The 2NAU Program

You can be admitted to NAU while completing your associate's degree at your community college. Learn more here.

CCC2NAU

If you are taking classes at Coconino Community College, be sure to have your credits transferred. Visit the CCC2NAU website for more information.

CM transfer students

If you’re considering transferring to Construction Management from another major at the university or to Northern Arizona University from another college or university, please contact the Construction Management Program Coordinator, John Tingerthal.

Transfer credits

Evaluators in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions review your transcript to determine your total number of transfer credits and if any courses count toward satisfying the university’s liberal studies requirements. The department then evaluates your transfer credits to determine if any courses fulfill requirements for your major.

Although the university may accept credits as transferable university coursework, the department does not apply transfer credit for 300-level or above courses with Northern Arizona University CM prefixes.

*No credit toward your degree is given for prior work experience.

Credit in other areas of study

If you have considerable proven experience in one or more areas of study, you may be allowed to substitute other university-level work in business, engineering, mathematics, or science for the replaced courses. These substitutions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Transfer of credits within Arizona

See how credits earned at other schools in Arizona may transfer to Northern Arizona University:

  • Arizona State University
  • Coconino Community College: CCC2NAU

Transfer from outside of Arizona

Western University Exchange (WUE):  Students in North Dakota, South Dakota, and all states west of and including Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and New Mexico are eligible for consideration of reduced tuition (150% of resident tuition)
