Construction office simulation Accordion Closed
This lab is used for teaching and self directed learning. A wide bed HP printer and 36″ plotter allows us to use the latest construction and design graphic software. The lab includes ample room for plan lay down and multiple user interface. The computers are connected to the university network. This lab also features full AV with projection.
Trade skills lab Accordion Closed
As part of our Construct for Practice (C4P) integrated laboratory, students have the opportunity to experience construction hands on.
Collaboration suite Accordion Closed
Our newly remodeled collaboration suite features two 42″ touchscreen monitors that allow virtual interaction with construction plans. CM students can reserve time in this space for group or individual work.
CEIAS CADD lab Accordion Closed
The Computer Aided Design Lab is an instructional and service facility that is equipped with 33 computers dedicated exclusively to undergraduate student use. Every terminal has various software packages installed, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks. When the lab is not in use for classes, students have access to it for their studies, projects, homework and assignments.
Soils laboratory Accordion Closed
All construction rests on soil. Our soil classes are taught by our own engineering faculty and our state-of-the-art facilities allow us to host up to 25 students comfortably.
Destructive materials lab Accordion Closed
This facility houses a variety of destructive materials test equipment, used in measuring structural properties of construction materials.
Machine and welding shop Accordion Closed
CEIAS Engineering and Professional programs has a machine shop and welding shop in a new facility about a five minute walk from the main engineering complex, in building 98C.
Computing facilities Accordion Closed
CEIAS Engineering and Professional programs offers a variety of computing technology. The engineering complex features more than 300 PC and Unix machines.
