A lot of research is being done on undergraduate research. The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity encourages you to consider joining one of our research councils to stay up to date on best practices, learn about NAU-specific and national grant opportunities, and network with other like-minded faculty with an interest in undergraduate research.

- Serve as a department liaison for executing plans to meet areas of focus
- Provide connections within your department/college in order to promote OURCA programs
URAC is a recognized service organization in Faculty 180. If you are interested in joining URAC, please email the Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity at ug-research@nau.edu.
CUR Accordion Closed
Founded in 1978, the mission of the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) is to support and promote high-quality, collaborative research and scholarship between undergraduates and faculty. CUR believes that faculty members enhance their teaching and contribution to society with active research projects and by involving undergraduates in research.
NAU currently has an enhanced institutional membership that allows for all university faculty, staff, and students to become members of CUR at no charge (up to $92 value).
