Earlier this month, eight members of the NAU Psychology Club traveled to Denver to attend the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association (RMPA) Conference. Prior to the conference, they participated in a community service project cleaning a local park along with other members from Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology. They found this to be a great way to give back to the community and to interact with students from other institutions.
The RMPA Conference attracts students from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, and affords them opportunities to present research, attend presentations, and participate in poster sessions related to different areas of psychology.
