The Rocky Mountain Psychological Association (RMPA) is well known to many students in the Psychological Sciences programs at NAU. Many of them travel to the annual convention to learn from experts in the field and to present research in which they have been involved at NAU. In April, the connection between NAU and RMPA became stronger still as Dr. Dunbar, Senior Lecturer and the Associate Chair of the Department of Psychological Sciences, assumed the role of President-Elect of the organization.
In her new role with the organization, Dr. Dunbar will be directly involved in conference planning, working to build on its reputation for providing high-quality professional development, a positive first-conference experiences for students, an encouraging and collegial environment in which to present research, and a place where those teaching psychology can come to learn more about the science of teaching and learning. The 2020 RMPA conference will be held April 16th-18th in Denver, CO.
