Message from the Chair of the Department of STEM Education

Welcome to the Department of STEM Education!

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all visitors to our department’s website. My name is Ron Gray, and it is my privilege to serve as the Chair of the Department of STEM Education. Whether you are a prospective student, an educator, a researcher, or simply someone with a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, we are thrilled to have you here.

Our department is committed to preparing exceptional STEM educators who will shape the future of education. Through our rigorous academic programs, we equip our students with the knowledge, skills, and pedagogical strategies necessary to excel in their classrooms and beyond.

In addition to our dedication to high-quality teacher preparation, we are also actively engaged in cutting-edge research in STEM education. Our faculty members are at the forefront of innovation, investigating effective teaching methods, designing new curriculum models, and developing research-partner partnerships with local schools. Through our research endeavors, we aim to contribute to the broader field of STEM education and make a positive impact on educational practices at local, national, and global levels.

I invite you to explore our website and learn more about the incredible work happening within the Department of STEM Education. Whether you are interested in our academic programs, research initiatives, or community outreach efforts, you will find a wealth of information and resources to inspire and support your journey in STEM education.

Thank you for visiting us, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about our department. We look forward to connecting with you and embarking on a shared mission to advance STEM education for a brighter future.

Sincerely,

Ron Gray, Ph.D.
