Advisors for every discipline
As a STEM education student in Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, General Science, or Physics, you’ll receive guidance from our compassionate advisors as you navigate your education degree. Your advisor helps you determine what courses to take for your degree and ensures that your path to completion is on track. Many departments also offer faculty and staff mentorship. Whether you’re a new, transfer, online, or continuing student, advising services are available to you.
First-year and exploratory students

Graduate students
All graduate students have two advisors:
- Academic advisor: Amy Faull. Amy is available to answer questions or concerns related to enrollment issues, any required petitions, updating and maintaining the Program of Study, and graduation.
- Faculty mentor: Ron Gray. Ron is available to answer questions or concerns relating to the academic program, certification issues, course selection.
