Undergraduate students

For full-time undergraduate students, NAU offers over 130 bachelor’s degrees.  Students may submit applications for undergraduate study year-round, but are encouraged to apply by the priority admission dates listed below.

Priority admission is available for undergraduate international students who apply by:

  • March 1 for the Fall semester with classes beginning in August
  • September 15 for the Spring semester with classes beginning in January

Applying by the priority admission deadline allows students to receive an earlier admission decision, access to the NAU housing application, and more time to submit required I-20 documents and schedule a visa appointment.

Gain a new perspective on your education

With a four-season climate and an average of 287 sunny days per year, Flagstaff—where our main campus is located—will help you develop a deep appreciation of the outdoors. The town frequently ranks among the top 10 best college towns for outdoor adventures, and the nearby 57 national and state parks, monuments, and recreation areas—including the world’s largest ponderosa pine forest—make it easy to see why.
