Dear Lumberjacks,
As the COVID-19 outbreak evolves, NAU is doing everything we can to promote the health and safety of our community while continuing to provide the best educational opportunities for our students. I appreciate your dedication and willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and am grateful for all of you who are working to make the transition to online classes as smooth as possible. NAU will continue to communicate with you to ensure you are confident and prepared for online classes to begin on March 23.
If you have a question, or if you are asked questions, please refer to the Q&A section on our website: nau.edu/coronavirus. If you don’t see your question, please email COVIDinfo@nau.edu.

NAU-Yuma
Northern Arizona University serves students in Yuma and the surrounding region
Northern Arizona University-Yuma provides an affordable, quality college education to students looking to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees, with the same level of rigor and expectations that NAU provides for students throughout Arizona.
About NAU-Yuma
NAU’s commitment to Yuma goes back to 1988 with the establishment of our campus here in the Southwestern Arizona border region. Our students come primarily from Yuma, La Paz, and Imperial Counties and, because of our location, live and study in a bi-national and multicultural environment that affords them opportunities to develop language and cultural skills that enhance their academic experience and employability.
Our strong partnerships with educational institutions in Sonora and Baja, Mexico help our students broaden their worldview and their understanding of transnational challenges. In 2006, NAU-Yuma was designated a branch campus by the Arizona Board of Regents, allowing us to tailor programming to better serve the needs of students and communities in the lower Colorado region. The campus is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) by the U.S. Department of Education. Learn more about our mission, values, and goals.
