The CSTL provides professional development to educators and educational organizations to improve Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. Our customized professional development services use research based strategies to develop science content understanding, integrate real world engineering practices, and implement Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
The CSTL offers program evaluation and assessment for teacher preparation, teacher professional development and higher education STEM programs. Services include program planning, developing evaluation plans and logic models, data collection, analysis and reporting.

The CSTL seeks TWO dynamic and innovative tenure-track scholars at the assistant professor level in science education beginning in August 2014. The CSTL is committed to strategically increasing its capacity to provide local and national leadership in science education through innovative undergraduate and graduate programs, professional development, and scholarship.
