Native Americans for Community Action (NACA)
Overview
The mission of NACA is to provide human and health services to individuals and
families in a culturally appropriate manner emphasizing advocacy, harmony,
respect and cooperation in all working relationships and community involvement
at all levels.
Interns will have the opportunity to learn about all areas
of NACA, including, but not limited to:
- Family Health Center
- tobacco education program
- emergency assistance program
- health education
- pathways program
- Workforce Investment Act
- substance abuse prevention
- diabetes program
NACA is open to the interest of the student.
Fingerprint clearance is a must for the internship and the cost will be
appropriated to the student.
