Benefits of giving to the Department of Sociology

Support students in their degree pursuits

There are a number of ways to support NAU students as they work towards their degrees. You can give your time, share your talent, and donate funds to support the Department of Sociology’s programs and initiatives.

The fundamental nature of public higher education has changed. In recent years, funding from the state and federal governments has declined significantly. At the same time, to permit access for all qualified students, the university has worked diligently to limit tuition increases.

The support from individuals, businesses, and corporations for the students seeking degrees in the Department of Sociology is critical to the success of our students and faculty. It helps expand our programs, experiences, and attract well-qualified faculty to our department.

We look forward to partnering with our many friends, business and community partners, and alumni to advance and ensure the quality of an NAU degree in social and behavioral sciences provides for our students to be well prepared for their careers and endeavors after graduation. We appreciate your enthusiasm and generosity in advancing that mission.
