Tony Gonzales is a Non-Traditional Transfer Student who transferred from Metropolitan University of Denver. He also attended Red Rocks Community College and Colorado State University. He is from Denver but used to live on Maui. He is a sophomore and he is majoring in Forestry. He say
s “I chose Forestry because the industry takes place outdoors and I love mechanical equipment.” He also loves 4-wheeling in his lifted Tacoma, mountain biking, and he is a hunter. He is looking forward to all the outdoor activities that Flagstaff has to offer.
When I asked him about an accomplishment he is proud of, he said it would be his work ethic. He has always had good jobs and excelled in his chosen field of work.
A quote from Tony: “WORK HARD & Be Nice to People.”
A funny story: Tony tripped and fell into a lake on Tuesday while chasing his hat in the wind! =)
He said that has never happened to him before.
If you see Tony on campus or in the TOC Lounge, say hello!
