For this December edition of the Transfer Jacks Blog, I would like to take some time to go over some helpful tips, some announcements, and some general advice for the end of the semester!
Small Announcements
The Transfer Jack’s Lounge will also be open 9:30 am -3:30 pm from 12/16 – 12/20 and closed during the time of 12/23-1/3! We will reopen on 1/6 – 1/10 with limited hours from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm. Regular 8 am – 5 pm hours will resume the first week of classes, beginning on Monday 1/13/25. Come on in if you need a nice place to sit in the warm 🙂
It’s Cold Outside
For those staying in their living community during the break, make sure your room is free of obstructions and policy violations, as maintenance may enter your room and check things are in order.

Open Communities: Morton, Pine Ridge, Raymond, Roseberry, South Village, Taylor, Calderon, Campbell, Campus Heights, Gabaldon, Gillenwater, Honors College, McDonald, McKay Village.

Happy Holidays
I want to congratulate everyone for getting through this semester! School, work, and the holidays, can all take their toll. As we wrap up this chapter, we want to remind everyone that we (the Transfer Jacks Team) will still be here whenever you want to stop by, look out for events, or take advantage of the programs and resources we offer. We’re gearing up for even bigger and better things in 2025, so get excited, transfers! Good morning, good evening, goodnight, and happy holidays! Safe days or safe travels, still gotta find out what to get those three crows for Christmas.
