NAU is committed to educate, support, and empower students from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences to reach their full potential and contribute to a more just, equitable, inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable future. Transfer and Online Connections works towards that mission by creating a culture where online students are valued and thrive.
The Jacks Online peer mentoring program pairs first-time online students at NAU with a Jacks Online peer mentor who is an experienced online student. Our Jacks Online peer mentors want to connect with online students and help them navigate their transition to NAU while providing a supportive community and resources for online-student success.
Although online students are assigned an online peer mentor in their first semester, mentoring can take place at any time in the online student journey. Contact us if you need us! And connect with us and other online students at NAU on Facebook and Instagram.
