Jacks Online

NAU educates, supports, and empowers students from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences to reach their full potential and contribute to a just, equitable, inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable future. Transfer and Online Connections works towards our mission by creating a culture where online students are valued and thrive.

By participating in Jacks Online peer mentoring, new online students will build a relationship with another online student (i.e., their peer mentor), find resources to support their academic journey at NAU, and receive support towards achieving meaningful goals.

Jacks Online logoThe Jacks Online peer mentoring program pairs first-time online students at NAU with a peer mentor who is an experienced online student.

Our Jacks Online peer mentors want to connect with online students and help them navigate their transition to NAU. By participating in Jacks Online peer mentoring, online students will receive support in the areas of academics, technology, student success resources, community connections, and adaptability.

Although online students are assigned an online peer mentor in their first semester, mentoring is available at any time in the online student journey. Contact us if you need us and connect with us and other online students at NAU on Facebook and Instagram.
