Introducing an Exciting NEW Event Focused on Disability Resources in Northern Arizona!
The Institute for Human Development, in collaboration with Care 4 the Caregivers, is pleased to announce the first-ever Northern Arizona Disability Resource Fair, taking place at the High Country Conference Center in Flagstaff on Saturday, October 5!
Developed in response to requests from the community, the resource fair is an opportunity to meet local service providers and disability organizations and to network with other individuals, families, and caregivers. It will feature over 30 exhibitor tables representing a wide range of local disability resources and supports, as well refreshments, inclusive activities, and door prizes. Admission and parking are FREE to event attendees.
Most Arizona disability-related fairs and expos take place in the Valley (which can be difficult and time-consuming for northern Arizona families to travel to) and feature vendors who do not provide services in northern Arizona. This event is designed to address this gap, focusing on local disability resources and taking place in our own northern Arizona community. In addition to event sponsors the Institute for Human Development and Care 4 the Caregivers, the fair was developed with input and support from High Country Adaptive Sports, Flagstaff Unified School District, and the United Way of Northern Arizona.
The Northern Arizona Disability Resource Fair will take place on Saturday, October 5 from 10am – 2pm at the High Country Conference Center (201 W. Butler Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86001).
