Doctoral

Doctor of Medical Science, Medicine Science

The purpose of the NAU Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree is to provide students with knowledge and competencies to contribute to an equitable, patient-centered, and cost-effective healthcare system. The program focuses on the role of the Physician Assistant (PA) as a critical member of the healthcare team through the study of population health, patient-centered care, health policy, health informatics, and health equity. The program provides students with foundational knowledge in healthcare delivery and payment models and their relationship to healthcare outcomes.

PhD in Mechanical Engineering

The goal of this research-intensive degree is to educate future leaders in industry and academia in the field of Mechanical Engineering. This doctoral program allows students to work closely with faculty experts in the field studying topics such as adaptive systems and intelligent structures, nano-heat transfer, energy systems, robotics, advanced composite materials, and computational fluid mechanics.


Master’s

Master of Business Analytics

This degree will focus on teaching students advanced technical and analytical skills, building quantitative aptitudes to better prepare them for the job market or the advancement of their current career path. Over the past decade business analytics has grown from small specialized applications into a multi-billion-dollar industry. Organizations including businesses, non-profits, and governmental entities are now heavily reliant on analytics to better serve stakeholders/customers and gain competitive advantages in multiple markets.

Master of Science in Information Technology

Information Technology plays a critical role in our daily lives controlling most aspects of our digital communication, banking, social media, investments, research, and so much more. Information Technology governs the organization and setup of the infrastructure that our computer networks rely on, the database warehousing systems that enable our access to our data, the cybersecurity processes that are needed to ensure the safety of our information and systems, and the programming that is necessary to put our modern systems of knowledge together quickly and effectively.

Master of Business Administration in Healthcare

Modern healthcare leaders need to bridge gaps between departments, engage teams, develop talent, and optimize systems for patient-centered care. Northern Arizona University’s online Master of Business Administration in Healthcare presented in partnership with Dignity Health Global Education (DHGE) will give you a holistic perspective on the inner workings of healthcare so you’re ready to lead meaningful change and make a lasting impact.
