International forestry study

Study abroad opportunities for NAU forestry majors

The School of Forestry’s professors are leaders in the international forestry arena. They have been involved in international forestry activities ranging from professional forestry seminars and tours to active research projects in over 30 countries around the world—all of which means tons of opportunities for you to study internationally.

International field courses

International field courses present a rare opportunity for you to experience forestry in different parts of the world. In the past, we have offered forestry programs in Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Ghana, and Honduras.
