Medical and mental health care services

Taking good care of yourself is easy at NAU. We have programs available dedicated to all aspects of your health and wellness, in person and online.

On-campus healthcare is provided by Campus Health Services (CHS).

All enrolled Flagstaff students who paid the health and wellness fee have access to CHS. Through CHS, you can see doctors and nurse practitioners, visit urgent care, have lab work done, and access mental health services. Counseling and psychiatric services are available in-person or via telehealth. CHS also provides immunizations (including flu shots), nutrition counseling, physical therapy, allergy clinics, and more.

Develop resilience

NAU has created an online toolkit to help you develop healthy coping skills in the face of all types of adversity. The NAU Resilience Project resources can help you healthily move through a range of difficult events—from getting a bad grade on a paper to coping with a global pandemic.

Move your body

CHS is inside the J. H. Health and Learning Center (HLC), where you can also enjoy our Campus Recreation facilities. As a Flagstaff student, the fees you pay each semester give you access to HLC gyms, athletic fields, fitness programs, sports clubs, and more.
