NAU Department of Health Sciences will hold their Health Sciences Virtual Poster Session on Thursday, November 19, 3–5:45 p.m., at the Fall 2020 Symposium. This virtual poster session features undergraduate and graduate Public Health students’ conference posters or abstracts, a short 3– to 5–minute presentation video, and a link to each group’s live Zoom session.
The Health Sciences Virtual Poster Session is organized into three sessions with 15-minute breaks in between.
- Session 1: 3-3:45 p.m. (all MPH projects)
- Session 2a and 2b: 4-4:45 p.m. (a mix of MPH projects and Senior Capstone projects)
- Session 3: 5-5:45 p.m. (all senior capstone projects)
Over the course of the semester, Masters in Public Health seniors design, implement (or pilot test), and evaluate health promotion interventions in collaboration with a community partner. Masters in Public Health students complete their independent graduate projects, which may include research projects, intervention design and evaluation, training design, systematic reviews, and grant proposals.
