Biology Minor  

To complete this minor, you must take a minimum of 18 units, with a grade of "C" or better in each course, as follows. At least 6 units must be taken at NAU:

• BIO 181/181L and 182/182L (8 units)
• one additional lab course (1-4 units), from the following:
  • BIO 201/201L, 202/202L, 205/205L, 221, 222, 223, 227, 322, 326/326LW, 331, 343, 349L, 369, 374, 401C, 410, 411, 414, 415, 424, 425L, 426L, 431, 440L, 475, 477, 478, 479, 488C, 502, 516, 517, 525, 526, 527, 528, 536, 540, 546, 570, 571, 572, 573, 574, or 575
   
• 6-9 units of biology courses, which may include up to 3 units of non-duplicating BIO 300

Please note that you may not use BIO 100/100L, 310—or any BIO recitation (R) courses—toward this minor. 

Be aware that some courses required for your minor may have pre-requisites that you must also take.
