Counseling – student affairs graduate assistant positions

Thank you for your interest in Counseling – Student Affairs

All Graduate Assistantships listed below are available for the 2025-2026 academic year.

  • CSA Application Deadline is January 1, 2025. The application form and all supporting materials (resume, cover letters, transcripts) must be submitted through the NAU application process by January 1, 2025.
  • Dr. Susana Hernandez, CSA Program Coordinator, will contact you electronically between February 10-14, 2025, to share your admission status for the M.Ed. Counseling – Student Affairs academic program.
  • Once admitted to the CSA program, you can begin applying to graduate assistant positions. Please follow instructions for each job description, which may vary. Include in your cover letter that you have been admitted into the CSA M.Ed. program. Interviews for graduate assistant positions will be scheduled and conducted by the graduate assistantship hiring departments.
  • Graduate Assistant positions will be offered between mid-March and mid-April by the hiring department for the graduate assistantship.
  • If any Graduate Assistant positions remain unfilled, eligible applicants will be contacted and encouraged to apply.
