- January-May Appointment Days & Times:
- Monday: 2:00 pm
- Tuesday: 8:00 am or 1:00 pm
- Wednesday: 8:00 am, 1:00 pm, or 5:00 pm
- Thursday: 1:00 pm or 5:00 pm
- May-June Appointments
- Wednesday: 8:00 am or 1:00 pm
- Thursday: 8:00 am or 1:00 pm
- August-December Appointment Days & Times:
- Wednesday: 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm
- Thursday: 12:00 pm or 5:00 pm
- Appointments with Senior students are roughly 2.5 hours long.
- Appointments with Junior students are roughly 3 hours long and you will need several appointments to complete treatment.
- Please plan on attending more than one appointment to complete your treatment.
- Many patients will require multiple appointments and may see more than one practitioner depending on the treatment needed.
- 24-hour cancellation notice, anything after 24 hours will be considered a last-minute cancellation
- After 3 last-minute cancellations or no-shows a patient will be dismissed from our clinic.

Fees Accordion Closed
We offer a flat fee that includes your cleaning, exam, x-rays, and fluoride.
- $70 for Adults
- $65 for NAU students, alumni, faculty, staff, and senior citizens over the age of 65.
- $45 for children 13 and under
- Sealants are $5 per tooth
We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, cash, and checks. Payment is due at the time of check-in.
We do not accept or bill insurance.

Please note, this is a Dental Hygiene School and we only offer Dental Hygiene preventative services. We do not do any restorative or Oral surgery such as extractions, fillings, crowns, root canals, etc. We would be happy to refer you to a local clinic for any restorative and oral surgery needs.
We provide:
- blood pressure screening
- oral cancer screening
- dental examination
- periodontal assessment (evaluation for gum disease)
- education-related to oral health
- radiographs (X-rays)
- dental hygiene therapy (prophylaxis)
- conservative periodontal therapy (scaling and root planning and periodontal maintenance)
- fluoride application
- sealants (coating to prevent decay on the chewing surfaces of teeth)
- teeth whitening (Please see requirements below)
- Must be a patient with the NAU Dental Hygiene Clinic
- Must have had teeth cleaning here within the last 6 months
- Whitening only available during the second half of the NAU spring semester each year

Please read our new patient information pamphlet. Please be aware, your treatment us most likely will take more than one appointment to complete. Some patients will require multiple appointments and may see more than one practitioner depending on the treatment needed.
Please complete your new patient forms prior to your appointment. After you have completed each form, please press the Submit button at the bottom of the page to automatically send us your information. On your first visit to the clinic, we will have your completed forms available for review and signatures. The security of your personal data is one of our primary concerns and we have taken precautions to protect it.

Getting to the Clinic
Coming from the South (Phoenix/Sedona): I-17 becomes Milton Rd when you enter town. From I-17 / Milton Rd., take the McConnell Dr. exit 341 on right. This exit appears as you first approach town. At the end of the McConnell Dr. exit, turn right at the stop sign on to McConnell Dr. Turn right again at the next, immediately appearing, three way stop sign, onto Pine Knoll Dr. (There is a large Northern Arizona University sign at this corner.) Go straight through the first 4 way stop, and at the second 4 way stop sign on Pine Knoll Dr. turn left into the Health Professions parking lot. You may also go past this stop sign and use the second entrance to our parking lot; you will now be headed directly toward our loading dock.
Coming from the North along Milton Rd. in Flagstaff: Turn east onto University Drive (there is a stop light at this intersection with a Target store on the NE corner and a shopping center with a KFC and an Arby’s on the SE corner). Turn right at the first traffic light, this will put you onto Knoles Dr. Proceed over the hill on Knoles Dr. until the stop sign at the bottom of the hill (McConnell Circle). Turn right on McConnell Dr. and go to the next stop sign (Pine Knoll Drive); turn left onto Pine Knoll Dr. Go straight through the first 4 way stop, and at the second 4 way stop sign on Pine Knoll Dr. turn left into the Health Professions parking lot. You may also go past this stop sign and use the second entrance to our parking lot; you will now be headed directly toward our loading dock.
Coming from I-40: take exit #341 – McConnell Dr. At the stop sign at the bottom of the off-ramp, turn right onto McConnell Circle. Persons with Disabilities Access
Please enter the front entrance at the west end of the Health Professions building. Turn right into the first hallway. At the end of the hall (east end), turn right; the elevator is now on your right (southeast end of building).
Parking Permit Information Accordion Closed
The university requires patients to have parking permits displayed in all vehicles. Please see our Parking Guidelines.
When you call to schedule your appointment, you will be given a parking pass kiosk code. The parking pass kiosk is located in front of the handicapped parking next to the Health Professions building. The code is only good for the duration of 1 appointment in the clinic. The parking pass must be placed on the passenger side of your dashboard.
Parking Service’s rules and regulations state that parking passes may not be given to NAU students, staff, faculty, or employees. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Did you know, Coconino County has a Dental Hygiene Voucher program? If you qualify, you can receive FREE preventative dental hygiene services at our clinic! See if you qualify for FREE preventative dental care today!
Preventive Care Voucher: The Preventive Care Voucher is designed to assist adults in obtaining preventive dental care. The program is open to income qualified adults who either have no insurance or who are on AHCCCS. How to Obtain a Preventative Care Voucher:
Present in person in Flagstaff to complete an application. If approved, vouchers will be issued at the time of application. You can also fill out the application and bring it with you to your appointment!
