Are you thinking about attending summer classes? Do you want to get ahead on your path to graduation, or are you looking to make up for some earlier academic struggles? Whatever your plans are, summer classes at NAU are a great way to earn some extra credit hours! For more information, keep reading.
Here are the answers to frequently asked questions regarding summer financial aid!
1.Summer term awarding will begin in April. Once you enroll in classes, our office will consider you for financial aid and you will be notified via e-mail.
2.To be eligible for a Pell Grant and/or UGrant, you need to be registered in at least 6 credit hours. OSFA recommends that you enroll in all credit hours you plan to take as soon as possible.
3.You may have loan eligibility for summer provided you did not receive the maximum loan amounts for the fall/spring terms.
4. PLUS loans are available for summer term.
5. If you are on SAP suspension as a result of cumulative GPA or pace of progress after spring 2018, you can improve your cumulative GPA and/or pace of progress percentage by taking summer classes. Visit nau.edu/summer for summer class information.
