Celebrating Incoming Student Excellence in Robotics
The Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering (MRE) program at Northern Arizona University is proud to announce the ON-RAMP Award, recognizing exceptional incoming students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in robotics prior to joining NAU.
Award Info and Highlights
· Eligibility: Incoming NAU freshmen enrolling in the MRE program.
· Criteria: Evidence of excellence in robotics through projects, competitions, or other significant achievements.
· Awards available: Three outstanding students will be selected.
· Recognition: Each recipient will receive a paid undergraduate research stipend for up to10 hours per week in one of NAU’s state-of-the-art robotics research labs, including:
o The Biomechatronics Laboratory led by Dr. Zach Lerner
o The Raz Lab led by Dr. Reza Razavian
· The best performing researcher each year will be recognized by a Departmental award

4. Final selection: Final selection will be made following 10-minute phone interviews
