The equipment in the lab is most traditionally metalworking hand tools and machines.

State-of-the-Art Equipment: Our shop has CNC mills, lathes, welding station, and other essential manufacturing tools tailored for mechanical engineering applications.

Course Support: We provide hands-on assistance for ME students and faculty in courses like EGR186, ME286, ME286L, ME386W, ME450, ME476C, and ME486C, ensuring access to the fabrication tools required for coursework and research projects.

Club Collaboration: We proudly support NAU’s Mechanical Engineering clubs, including ASME, SAE, SWE, and CWC, assisting in fabricating competition-ready designs and projects.

Training & Safety: Safety is our top priority. We offer comprehensive training sessions to ensure all students and faculty can operate equipment safely and effectively.
