Marketing resources at Northern Arizona University
University Marketing maintains many resources and databases that can aid you in developing your own communication materials. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with these resources and consult with University Marketing personnel if you need help in accessing or using them.
Starting a project
Get familiar with the NAU brand
Before you get started on a major marketing product, we recommend you take a few minutes to familiarize or re-familiarize yourself with the university brand. Understanding our brand will help you develop even more compelling communications, integrating a common narrative proven to resonate with our community and prospective students alike.
Our visual brand standard guide—an online manual that codifies the use of our logo, mark, and brand in a variety of different communication channels and media—is another helpful resource. The guide reviews color palettes, preferred photo formats, and examples of both appropriate and inappropriate use of our primary graphic elements. The guide should and can be accessed by anyone developing material with branded content.
Please be sure to review any policies and guidelines relevant to your project as well.
