Through the Teachers Academy at NAU, you can earn a degree in education leading to teacher certification and:

- impact students at an Arizona public school with a teaching position, empowering you to make a positive difference
- kickstart your teaching career by receiving hands-on guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities
Requirements for Arizona Teachers Academy applicants
an undergraduate or graduate education program that leads to teacher certification, and enroll as a full-time student.
to teaching at an Arizona public school for the number of years equivalent to the years you received the Teachers Academy scholarship.
a current FAFSA and accept all available grant aid and tuition-based scholarships. A Teachers Academy Scholarship will be provided to cover any remaining tuition and mandatory fees.

Participation in the Arizona Teachers Academy at NAU is first-come, first-served for students who complete all eligibility requirements, up to the allowable funding provided by the state. Enrollment preference will be given to Arizona residents, followed by all college-level seniors. A wait list will be maintained.
